A loading meter is the space requirement of a commodity on a truck in length, when using the standardized truck width of 2,40 m. The calculation is therefore based on the following formula:
(Length x width of a product in meters) / 2,4 = loading meter
Example: 1 EURO - Pal (1,20 x 0,80) / 2,4 = 0,4 Load meter
Please take into account that when loading packages outside the packaging standards (pallet, barrel, etc.), the space actually required on the vehicle is always billing-relevant.
